In the car park, basic improvement and repair work is done every year. This project includes painting of all surfaces on the inside of Toriparkki. The total area to be painted is 35,000 m2. At the same time, some of the facility’s information signs will also be renewed. Oy Polyplan Ab is responsible for the planning of the work and Vaasan Maalaustyö Reinisalo Oy will carry out the work.
The car park is open to customers during construction, but the facility will be partially closed in stages. We strive to minimize the inconvenience the work can cause to our customers and neighbors, by dividing the work into five stages. Upper level will be performed in three stages and lower level in two stages.
In stage 1, the southern entrance and exit will be closed for an estimated four weeks. In stage 2, the northern entrance and exit are closed. During stage 5, the charging points of the electric cars on the lower level will not be able to be used. We provide information on Toriparkki’s website and Facebook page about how the various stages of the work are progressing.
